About MAP
Welcome to the Maharashtra Association of Physicians
The Maharashtra Association of Physicians (MAP) is a professional organization uniting physicians across Maharashtra to promote excellence in clinical practice, medical education, and research. It provides a strong platform for scientific exchange, continuous learning, and collaboration among healthcare professionals.
MAP actively conducts conferences, CMEs, and workshops, fostering updated knowledge, ethical practice, and advancement in internal medicine for better patient care outcomes.
OBJECT OF SOCIETY
To encourage an advanced study and practice of science and art of medical therapy and sciences.
To promote social and scientific exchange amongst the physicians of the chapter and the physicians of the other chapter, nations and other societies.
To encourage scientific research an experimental work on medicine and other faculties.
To organize scientific programmes, conferences, seminars, symposium, workshop etc.
To provide for Continuing Medical education programme for post graduate doctors in Maharashtrta State.
To establish and maintain reference library books, journals, periodicals, magazine, newspapers, audio-visual material interrelated services etc. relating to medical science.
To watch and advice on legislation affecting members.
To organize exhibitions related to medicines and medical science.
To protect the rights and privileges of the members.
To look into and to solve the grievances of the members and help them as much as possible.
To conduct/ promote study tours abroad.
To impart and develop medical education and related activities.
To organize the camps in rural areas, spread the awareness in villages about family planning, aids and other diseases prevention programmes.
To conduct the surveys, epidemiological surveys etc.
